"Sobriety Is Not a Loss
His conviction is simple: sobriety is not a loss, but an opportunity to reconnect with yourself and live a more fulfilling life. 30 Days Sober was created to ensure that, at the beginning of a journey of change, a person has not judgment or moralizing by their side, but structure, experience, and support."

30 DAYS SOBER

A 30-Day Challenge That Could Become a New BeginningA practical guide to living alcohol-free.

Maybe you’ve been thinking about giving up alcohol for some time.

Maybe you’ve tried drinking less.

Maybe alcohol hasn’t ruined your life — but you feel it takes up more space in it than you want to give it.

Or maybe you’re simply curious to find out:

What would my life be like if I stayed completely sober for 30 days?

You don’t have to promise yourself “never again.”

Start with 30 days.

This isn’t another story about why you shouldn’t drink.

You probably already know many of the arguments against alcohol.

This book is about something else.

What to do next.

30 Days Sober is a modern, structured, and practical guide for anyone who has decided to give themselves the opportunity to experience life without alcohol.

Not to punish yourself.

Not to deprive yourself of something.

But to pause for 30 days and take a clearer look at your life.

Because sobriety is about more than simply giving up alcohol.

Sobriety can be an opportunity to find yourself again.

  • Agris Starts
Agris Starts is one of the creators and leaders of the 30 Days Sober movement. His approach is rooted in personal experience and practical work on changing habits — not in moralizing or imposing restrictions, but in encouraging people to experience for themselves how life can change when alcohol is temporarily set aside.
Together with Ansis Klintsons, Agris created the 30-day challenge, where participants receive practical daily tasks, support, and an opportunity to share their experiences. 30 DAYS SOBER is a continuation of that experience in book form — a practical tool for anyone who wants to discover for themselves what 30 days without alcohol can change in their life.

Maybe you know this feeling

You tell yourself: “I can go without drinking.”

But somehow, Friday comes around again.

A celebration.

Dinner.

Stress.

Boredom.

A party.

Or simply that familiar moment when alcohol feels like the obvious choice.

And that’s exactly why sometimes you don’t need another promise to yourself.

You need structure.

A clear starting point.

And a timeframe short enough to let you tell yourself:

30 days. I’ll give it a try.

What is “30 days sober”?

It is a book about the first 30 days without alcohol.

About change.

About choices.

About getting to know yourself.

About a life you don’t have to put on hold until things have become bad enough.

It brings together practical advice, reflections, and experience that can help you stay on your chosen path and see an alcohol-free life not as a loss, but as an opportunity.

30 days is not your whole life.

But sometimes 30 days is enough to begin an entirely new chapter.
